Getting re-aqainted...

D'Andre Nelson sat on the bed putting together all of the facts that he had on the Mishimas and he was checking twice to make sure they weren't repeating facts on other reports.  He sighed and thought about Mira his little sister, even though they weren't the same race they were that close.  He always wanted to be a field operative but he wasn't that efficient with thinking on his feet.  'Poor girl, damn must of bein' tough for her not knowing about her momma,' He did find her mother's profile but Byron called him in to not show it to her, to make an excuse that he couldn't find it.  He remembered the phone call well "Don't show her the profile," Byron warned.
"It isn't fair for me to conceal information that is rightfully hers, sir," D'Andre tried persuading him to let Mira look at it.
"Either you don't show it to her or you resign, is that clear!" Byron snapped.
"Clear, sir," He ended the phone call.
He thought for a second that job was the only thing he had left in his life and it was giving him a roof over his head. 'Lord have mercy on my soul, I don't know what to do' He looked at the profile on his laptop screen.
'I'm sorry girl but that job is the only thing that's gonna keep me off the street from doing shit.'  He threw it away destroying anything related to it and he gave himself sometime to think up and excuse.

Mira groaned slightly her vision-blurred feeling numb; she blinked her eyes, which improved her vision slightly.  She knew that she was lying on a bed, a soft one.  Mira using both of her arms she supported herself upright.  It was dark were no windows in the room, the light was dim in the room.  She looked at her arm with a band-aid where her veins were.  "What?" Mira said quietly feeling the ban aid on her arm.  Feeling weak and hungry she laid back down on the bed.

"You're awake," Kazuya quietly said he had been standing over her the whole time.

"What did you do to me.." Mira groaned out.

"Nothing, you fainted," Kazuya said starting to pace around he had her blood checked nothing not a trace of it, "Would you like a ride back to the hotel?"

"No, I want answers first," Mira looked Kazuya her eyes narrowing a bit.

He looked at her in a strange way 'I've seen that look somewhere, but where?' he snapped out of it, "You're looking in the wrong places I have nothing to hide and nothing to offer it's best if you leave before I change my mind."

She got off from the bed feeling a rush to her head, but stood up to Kazuya, "I'll be watching you.." Mira said in a spiteful tone, "By the way you didn't explain where I got the ban-aid."

Mira headed to the door and exited the room flinging her hair to her back.  'I can't just pry into his mind I don't want to know more than I want to. Plus, I haven't mastered that. Yet.  And I can't just learn how to control it in week it took me all my life to control the other. . .' She shrugged off the idea her powers, her powers tired her out too much and made her heart beat like crazy like if she was in love.  Outside the guards were eyeing her with hatred because in their eyes she was the bitch that had killed 3 of their own, but in Mira's view they were just plain guard assholes that have nothing better to do than to just stare, and take up space.
She made it back to the hotel with the help of a cab.  'Jeez now I gotta go check on D'Andre see if he had any luck and not to mention getting a hair tie,' her straight hair flowed down it went all the way down to her hips.

Bryan Fury sat at the smoking section of the bar his beer had gone flat obviously he had not touched it, due to his chain of thoughts.  Why did Abel revive him and then abandon him?  Why him?  Why could he feel deaths presences coming closer?  All of these questions came droning and gnawing away at him, consuming his brain and forming endless rage.  He was all alone in the world, like if he wasn't in his past life even now if his former acquaintances would see him now they would fear him, he had never had anyone.  He looked over to the tinted glass to where the lobby led out seeing the people minding their business whether it would be being tourist, honeymooner, or business man but over all he didn't give a shit about it.  The only thing on his mind was to beat the living crap out of the Hong Kong cop and get on with it until he won and got his revenge on the old fuck. Then something caught his eyes.  'Is that who I think it is?' he asked himself puzzled.

Mira turned at the tinted glass and pushed her hair back straightened out her shirt and jacket trying to cover up but her bra was in full view.  Bryan smiled at the look of her situation 'Nice tits,' he thought with an odd chuckle looking at her ample chest.  True, he hadn't really taken interest in a woman lately and he did not swing the other way either.  Besides, what kind of a woman would want his man half dead anyway.  He made his decision he might as well talk to her just to see what's up she probably wouldn't remember him since he had change so much when his carcass went under the knife.

'Forget it girl that jacket ain't buttoning up and probably plenty of pervs got a view of your boobs,' she told herself disappointed.  She saw someone behind her she spun around her eyes fell upon a tall muscular pale man with a scar marking his face.  "Um. . .hi," she said sheepishly a bit intimidated but at the same time kind of scared.  Mira looked into the man's eyes they were an glacier blue that made her body feel like if it had dropped 50 degrees but then she remembered that type of stare when she couldn't get her moves or her stance right,  "Bryan?" she said take aback, "Is..is that you?"

He nodded.

Mira smiled despite the way that he looked, "Well say something man! What are you doing here! Wait, lemme guess the tournament!" She waited for a moment "I knew it! I'm in it too! But I can tell where there's less people come on!" she dragged him to the elevator.

'Isn't this entertaining..I barely remember her and she's all over me,' he mused to himself.

The elevator doors close and she began,  "What happened? Two years ago I find out that you get killed, and now you're here! I mean sure you don't look as healthy as you did but how.Hell what happened!" Mira eagerly waited a response from her former trainer.

"Nothing much just got my body dragged into a lab, Abel brought me back for being some prototype for an army, then I had to play chore boy for him to get some info on a Dr. B then the asshole left me.." he said in a plain like manner.

"That's it?" she said a little weirded out, "But what are you here for?"

"Revenge." Bryan hissed he clenched his fists Mira could hear his bones popping.

"Oh," Mira said there was a ding from the elevator.

"What are you here for kid?" he said his memory of her was begging to clear up little.

"I'm on assignment," she said triumphantly.

Bryan cracked a big smile, "Sure you are."

Mira frowned,  "Hey being 3 years away from you has made me a better fighter, and besides I'm pretty damn good at what I do."

"What? Being a copy girl or an intern? Face it kid you don't have what it takes for this kind of stuff," Bryan walked out of the elevator, so did Mira.

"Oh yeah! Well you don't know shit obviously," They reached her room and Mira opened the door, the two went in, Mira closed the door behind her.

"Least I was a damn good detective unlike a supposed agent from the company," He began.

"You were such a good detective that you got caught in a shoot out," Mira fired.

"Aren't you a little too young for an agent?" Bryan looked at her "I'd say by now you'd be 21."

"I've been at this for 3 years and half mind giving me a little credit for what I'm doing and let alone being in one piece!" she snapped it always annoyed her when he treated her like a child.

He grunted, "Look it's just that I can't believe that asshole let you in the company at that age, he should of let you in at 20 or did you pull some strings?"

"I pulled some strings," Mira said frowning and sat on her bed.

"You what?! You said you were going to college! What ever happened to being an architect?" Bryan looked at her in surprise, "I'm guessing that's why he let me train you, not because to of what happened.."

"DON'T MENTION THAT!" she boomed with a sudden rush of hatred her eyes pupils were that of a blood ruby color.

Bryan's cold blue-gray eyes gave a type of glare that demanded order she calmed her self down.  "I'm sorry it's just that yes, that was one of the reasons but I wanted to be in it something inside me just wanted to be an agent I don't know like a pull of some sort.." She lowered her head not knowing what came over her.

"It's just that I never expected you becoming an agent and all of this, it's not right, I mean look at me, look how I ended up now I'm the freakin bionic man that has his days number again by some sad excuse for a doctor Frankenstein, what if that old faggot gets a hold of you and finds out you work for the company?  Mira, if that man finds out about you, he'll get Heihachi on your ass, you won't be able to escape his grasp," He warned.

"Well I can't just walk away," Mira defended.

"Yes, you can get Byron to re-assign."

"NO! I won't!  There is something about this tournament that connects to me, aight, something that has to do with my mom, and I'm not going to quit right about now just because you or anyone else tells me too!"

"There's another reason why I want a re-assign," he spoke calmly.

"Oh yeah and what is that," Mira said annoyed crossing her arms.

"I don't want to hurt you."
